My inserts should not hold but are simple interface inserts with a threaded inner hole m6. we have too many applications of post molding inserts and dedicated equipment too different (in my opinion so much money thrown). We had to consider 2 / 3 bays with fanuc to mount any insert on any piece.
in the light of these considerations it is best to mount in press back with manual work on press board.
