Good evening, everyone! I have a small problem in creating a hole in solidworks 2011. I should create a threaded hole m75x2, but within the hole creation procedure there is no such strange measure. How can I solve this? Is there a way to create custom threaded holes? thanks in advance.

do added tools> solidworks toolbox/browser appears to you impart to the toolbar a toolbox bar you configure in step 1 go to iso copy the folder once you enter the iso look over and you will find "copy folder", you put the name of your custom folder. go to stage 2 enter your folder in creation wizard holes enter standard holes and change one with the parameters that you need.

ca21 hi, if I don't remember badly in solidworks exists:
cut with seept.
where the tool is a triangle (scratch to be relied on) that runs a propeller step2 desired diameter inside the hole.

I don't think it's a lot to do real representations of a thread, 1 at the table is not read as a thread so every time it should do it again and then at the table remember to change the quota, 2- the program would definitely slow down.(more holes you would do slower would become the file)

do not make the 3d representation of the thread but follow the indication of the toolbox addition. Another alternative is to make a smooth hole and insert cosmetic thread with caption.
