Hello I am a user of ansys classical, I prefer this version for greater control that allows me to have in the phase of meshatura and definition of loads and constraints. I recognize the practicality of workbench but for now I would like to continue using classical.
I need to make a non-conceptual simulation. I have two parakepts in contact with each other on the long side. one of these is at 400°c and the other at 20°c. that at 400° is practically rigid and therefore undeformable. I expect the coldest par to taste a banana form.
I have to choose the distance between the two supports so as to minimize the deformed cold par.
how to shape contact areas? What kind of elements? Do you have any examples of files that illustrate the contact between bodies?
