I'm a student next to graduation and I had to learn how to use adams/view in recent months.
I am studying the dynamics of a valvetrain system and I find difficulty in setting contact parameters, i.e.:
- stiffness
- damping
- depth penetration
- force exponent
using the default parameters I get non-truth results, also the adams/view guide does not provide particular indications and online I find contrasting opinions.
Does anyone have any guidelines/consistencies to give me to set these values?
