contact problem

Good morning.
I am trying to create a contact of hertz between two bodies using patran combined with nastran following the 'demonstration guide'. analysis works, but it doesn't give me the desired results. the problem in my opinion is that I can't set the compiler in a way that I cannot. for example on the guide there is written to activate the mode 'mech', but I have no idea how you can do it. Does anyone have any idea how to activate it? I can't even write it directly on the bdf because I need the results in .master.

I don't know the mech mode.
in any case you can write directly on the bdf by opening it with an editor, or you can write commands from patran, directly in the bdf. why do you need the results in the master, do not just op2 new, with also the contact areas?
Why don't you tell us what your problem is? You don't understand much since you wrote.
