conversion bookcase linetype and retini per autocad map 2011

Bye to all,
I'm new to the forum. I wanted to know if someone can help me convert old retinals and lines for autocad 2000 in compatible version with acadmap 2011. I tried to see the file *.lin . apparently the file is equal to that of the cad but is not read. I can also turn the file

Have you had a chance to try it on a 2011 pure autocad or higher?
