switching from tekla to traditional cads is difficult, especially when the axieme is complex. I managed a long time ago to import a ifc file directly into solidworks, but the surfaces were made of triangles... let's say I did very little.

return to this topic after months and months... Sorry but the work here in uff was impressive. . .

I must admit that the steps indicated by @ Stefanobruno I couldn't make them, but I found a definitive way to make conversions.

I started looking for something on the net on revit that I managed to install with a license purchased but never used.
at the end it was revealed the necessary program for passages from the ifc format to inventor.

the steps are simple but fundamental, you just have to find the exchange formats between the various programs to get a model of tekla consisting of solids.

the passages are these:
1- open a new structure project in revit
2- use from the menu "put" "link ifc file"
3- Once imported the I recommend model to display it in 3d to verify that it is ok
4- Export the model to "formato cad" - "file format sat"
5- switch to inventor and import sat model
6- choose whether to use "mulbody part" or "axieme + components"
7- save imported model in inventor format

for the type of import of the sat model recommend the multibody part if you only have to insert it into the general model for verification, if instead you need to touch or move something then it becomes more useful the axieme.
this in the 2019 version, as there is no multiple body selection function.
if I'm not mistaken this is exceeded in version 2021 (which I haven't installed yet) as the multiple selection function of the body was implemented.

I assure you that this type of conversion also works well for the management of the table.
to today I have a set of structures with a set of approximately 15000 parts and it works smoothly even with a graphics card of modest power.

for those interested in converting tekla models into solids I use the export to sketchup (of the same manufacturer of tekla) and then with rhino convert in the format required by the customer step parasolid.. .
