conversion from inventor 2010 to 2009

I work with inventor 2009, I have a client who works with inventor 2010 and I should spend bookstores.
someone can explain how to convert inventor 2010 files to inventor files 2009.

I don't have to read with 2009 an inventor file 2010 , but convert with inventor 2010 files to inventor 2009 and be able to work on it.

Open them and save them. or you can use the massive conversion tool that you find in the program menu\autodesk inventor\tools\task scheduler
create task/migrate files

be confusing, you can neither open an inventor file with a version of the previous program, nor save an inventor file in a previous version (as you can do instead with autocad).
the only thing that the customer can do is send them into a universal format like step or iges, unfortunately you will have geometry but not individual processing.

version downgrade is not allowed for inventor and swx, which can be done with autocad.

if you have file version 2010 you can't turn them into 2009. you can only pass them in generic stp, iges and similar format, losing information about inventor.

I agree, in the sense that I also have at least the strong doubt that the impossibility of saving in past versions is linked to the complexity of much greater than the inventor files than autocad.
