I'm trying to convert a set with my client
the starting format is nx5 and I need it in step or parasolid format

the problem is when I open the files produced with my cad (keycreator) at least half of the solids and I can't understand why. :frown:

Any ideas?

from what you write you do not understand if the step you create it with nx5 or with keycreator

if it were with nx5 I think that in the loading phase axiemi did not load as geometry all the components and therefore in the export phase it worked only on some models

the starting file is nx5 and we are using unigraphics to convert it to step or parasolid.
keycreator I use it to load the obtained file.

in the option I have raised the check to "partial loading use" you mean this?

to export in step, go to assembly navigator, place on the file together with the mouse, and with mb3 selections "select assembly".
on the selected axieme, always with the mb3, do "open" "component fully".
at this point you select everything for export in step.
for export in parasolid is not necessary.
but check the reference sets, so that you have loaded all the geometry.

a few years ago I had the same problem with exporting files to cad, the solution that puts that to "save" the loading options once opened the files from "load options", at that point when exporting the program refers to the default file.

I hope I was useful. . .
