Hello, everyone!

I find myself having to convert a dwg file of a building to a stl file with the autocad architecture, but at the time of selection of the parts tells me that the solid is not tin, the surfaces are not sewn.
How do I fix it?

Sorry, taken by the mouth of wanting to find a solution I didn't even introduce myself.. . .

I'm a young entrepreneur, my partner and I just started our business. we deal with rapid prototyping and design development in 3d. we have a three-dimensional printer with fdm technology and we use autocad inventor and architecture. the printer only supports .stl file and we can't convert the file of a building created with architecture.

I hope for your help ;-)
if you are curious to see what we visit our site abs project s.n.c., must be completed of "who we are" and "photo gallery" but already we have uploaded some pictures.

I found the solution alone, the public to give the possibility to other users to use the information I found.

working on surfaces, the software does not recognize solids therefore not from the possibility of exporting the file to .stl, it is therefore necessary to create first solids of each part separately (creating a single block you risk having a result different from the original file or even worse to stack the pc in the case of a file very big as mine).

1) open file with autocad architecture
2) convert to solids from the menu: start -> edita -> operations 3d -> converts to solid
3) select items and press Enter

once you turn all parts into solids you can create the file in .stl

or with the command from the main menu export>other formats;
or with the command from the main menu publishes > via stl print service.

Good job!
