conversione layer

Good morning.

from "inventorian" neophyte was trying to perform the conversion of some drawings we acquired c/or other firm.
the problem is as follows:
I managed with the inventor tools to insert the new cartiglio and replace it with the previous one;
the problem now is on the "properties of the layers" I would like, in essence, that the old plates assumed the appearance of our company.
Someone can tell me if there is an automatic operation that will allow me this...
being about 500 tables, doing it manually would be very dispersive.

provided that I only use autocad mechanical and not the entire inventor package so I do not know if the procedure is valid for you, however I use the following command:
help-->standard cad --> convert layers, from you can map a custom conversion tab and save it as an external file.

I confirm that the solution proposed by thegio works
has only one limitation... there is only the "dialogue window" mode, so you can't create buttons or macros to convert all files into one shot.. .

Yes! I use it on a file that I still have to open and edit, it would be interesting a procedure that automatically does it! !

...I had to decide to study a little vba!!
