hello to all I needed help to transform an object (mesh) into a solid to be able to change it. I searched on the forum and also on the internet but I couldn't get out of it. using the _convertinsolid command (or something like that) makes me mistake by saying that it is impossible.

thanks to all for the help

p.s hope it is the right section but nn I still can orient myself well in the forum

How's mesh?
I'm still learning how to use autocad in all its functions, for now I can safely manage it in 3d modeling with solids but not with mesh, said what you mean by "how it is done". I can tell you that it was created by an autocad application importing a .stl (stereolithography). in fact my goal is to convert a .stl file (stereolithography) to a .dxf/dwg (with inside a solid that can be modified not as now a mesh with which I can't do anything)

p.s problems can also be given by my pc in fact as much as I built it well and all the budget too low has brought choices and now it is hard to run some commands: If I want to increase the smoothness of the mesh I cannot because I do not have enough ram (8 gb).

Thank you. I'm sorry I ran out a little bit.

There may be several reasons that do not allow conversion from mesh to solid. without seeing mesh it is impossible to answer
