convert stl file to cylindrical coordinates

good day to all, not being experienced I ask if you can convert a stl file to cylindrical coordinates that represent the same solid surface.
Can any of you help me? I would practically send to any of you experts the stl file to be converted to cylindrical coordinate files. I use a 3d scan dental scanner that only provides stl files. but my machine tools only reason in cylindrical coordinates. . .
