copy files exploded from different assemblies

I would like to know if you can copy files exploded from different assemblies and not between configurations of the same.
coming from similar cad (solidedge) where this operation was possible by replacing the name of the "domain" file.
this kept the "explosion passes" of the identical codes between the two axioms.
