hi to everyone, I have to switch from solid edge to solidworks for work reasons.
My problem is to understand how to carry surfaces or bodies of one part, inside another part.
in itself, I had inside a set 2 tubes, part 1 and part 2, going to change part 1 I used copy in part, and I copied in part 1 a surface or whole body of part 2, in this way I used part 2 to cut the 1... or to extend up to the next body.
Is there any way to use part 2 as a reference to cut part 1, or import the full body?
Thank you.

Sure.
you select the interested part and change part. you can now use all geometries included in the axieme, the axieme itself or the contained parts, as references.
remember that the part will be bound to the assieme and the reference part.

ok thanks, in fact I have seen that I can use the other parts without bringing in anything, it is much more convenient so.
Thank you very much.
