Hi.
usually (for my fixation) the threads I make them through helical sweep removing material. the problem is that many times the model becomes extremely heavy and the regenerations are very long. often between a regeneration and the other creo fails to model the thread and to "snatch it" I am forced to play with 0.05 in step or other strange things. .
so I decided to use the cosmetic fillet function that I never used. (create use 3)
the first problem is that if I sketch "technical design >>> cosmetic filet" I refer to the folder "group directory" where I can choose between "external" or "internal" and then between "blind" and "through". every choice sends me to a message that quotes:
"The current tolerance standard is absent. impossible to update the fdu because its reference part is not available. click ok to continue without compatibility with the tolerance standard or cancel to stop. "if I click ok send me to a window in "old pro-e" style "insert feature defined by the user" that basically I can't use. .
I downloaded this table https://www.cad3d.it/forum1/threads/filettatura-pro-e.15933/#post-132741even if it gives me the same warning on the fdu I can use it. But I would like to understand how to solve it. .
problem number 2:
Once I have done my cosmetic thread (I carry it out externally on a tube), in the table I see the cosmetic lines only in the section, while in the unsectioned view I do not see the cosmetic lines. How can I solve this?
thanks to all
