excuse the banal question....

I have to do an optimization analysis and I want to change the name of the symbol of a linear quota to give a "meaning" instead of the usual d1, d5 etc.
dimens.webp(wildfire i)

No problem I think, just do

part>modify>dim cosmetics>symbol (wildfire i)

sin that I do not find the item "dim cosmetics" under the edit menu.
It's definitely nonsense, but in full senile attack this morning I can't solve it.

Where did I get lost?

If I understand correctly you can solve it like this:
select the quota that interests you;
right button --> properties
in the property window at the top right you will see a name field with the default name (eg d1)
instead of the default name write what you want, then close the property window by clicking you ok
now if in the main window you make tools --> switch odds instead of d1 you will see the name you chose.
Was that what you wanted to get?

Hi.
Yeah, that's exactly what I did. Every now and then I use an old wildfire i, so some things have forgotten.

to my disk however (no senile attack that day) mark that the help on this specific voice has never been updated until at least the wf 4, is still reported the procedure with the steps that were used until 2001.

Before posting I had done a search in international forums and found old messages that were asking the same question, so I had missed the fly to my nose.

in any case I thank you for writing the answer, it could be useful to others
