imagine you have the profiles in your hand and try to cut them to make them mate...
the correct system according to me is as from image.

for precision is a distinct cut.
you can insert it from the drop-down menu inserable materials.
make sure to click on the ts dx on the tree under the "cutting list" and select "upstream" (the icon will change and assume the appearance of a table with a welding symbol).
