crash solid edge versione se2019 e se2020 con win 10

Good morning.
work in the Italian department of a company specialized in mechanical field. for years we have been using solid edge (floating licenses) and recently we have moved to the se2020 version.
a few months ago we started having continuous crash problems (still with the antecedent version st19) sometimes even at the opening of the program.
the dealer, who also follows us for technical support, advised us to go back with windows 10 updates because there seemed to be incompatibilities (not all computers however present these crashes even if the version of windows was the same). the version on the pc was 2004 kb4560960.
we couldn't disintegrate it and the assistance tried to make the next update that was supposed to solve bugs in theory, but so it wasn't.
we were therefore advised to switch to the new version solid edge 2020 but crashes were re-presented (always the same closing error of the program and if the problem persists they say to contact the assistance).
we were again told that the problems were due to incompatibility with windows 10 20h2 and also with 2004 and it would be better to go back to version 1909. if you can't go back to version format your pcs and reinstall everything from scratch staying then with win10 1909 and block updates.
I wanted to know if there's someone else in our own situation.
it seems strange to have to go back of 2-3 versions of windows when we have computers that do not have any crashes and are updated to the latest version win10 20h2. while others have the 2004 version and have crashes that they still had when they had 1909. I would not want that after the suggested formatting and reinstallation we were then in the same situation.
Is there anyone who can give me a tip? We can't get out of it.
Thank you in advance.

try to attach the crashlogf.txt file to try to figure out where the problem is

for what concerns me Se2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 always started on various versions of windows without problems

I changed the title, version st19 does not exist, the previous to se2020 is called se2019 and the previous was the st10

Hi.

Unfortunately you do not understand which dll crashes, but I noticed that you have a pretty new video driver with a pretty old video card (it's the same as I have).

on my pc I installed the following version of the driver:

opengl driver: nvoglv64. dll (23.21.13.8816)

Have you tried with different drivers yet?

I tried with this driver but it tells me that it is not compatible with the installed windows version (win10 20h2). one of the technicians that follows us for support siemens tried to change the drivers and put the last ones you saw in the log, but crashes anyway, both with those he had before and those updated. relative to the log pc, the user told me that the problems started this summer after an update of windows. have done various tests on pcs (change drivers, uninstall the latest updates etc.) but have not solved anything.
I also attach the log of other 2 pcs, one of which is more recent configuration.

a test to do is to create a new user on that pc and try to use solid edge on that. I've been through this before.

another test to do is to start solid edge with the /safemode parameter

something like a command prompt or search bar:

"c:\program files\siemens\solid edge 2021\program\edge.exe" /safemode

if so it works means you have some addin installed that crashes solid edge

I asked and tried directly with the safe mode, but it crashed anyway (they also tried to activate the various addins individually and crashed).
I tried yesterday to remove the antivirus (as suggested in some posts) but the crash occurred anyway. now the assistance will forward the signal directly to siemens.
thank you for the advice, I will let you know if we solve with siemens. Good day

I'm not sure the problem is in the file name you use, but in the past I also had problems with a file name where I accidentally entered points. have you tried to replace the dots with the dashes?

a new user on that pc, you may also try with the administrator user
tried, nothing to do always crashes with the administrator user.
we sent all logs to assistance (crashlog, sesysinfo_log and microsoft event viewer), so they forward everything to siemens

We haven't solved yet.
However, apparently it is a conflict of libraries with our management, the practice was opened directly in siemens again in March and we are waiting for repost (the following partner had written to us that a change should be made to the solid edge library to eliminate crashes). However when I have news I will update this post.
the partner had told us to make an attempt by disabling a field (see image), but there is for version 2021 and not for 2020 that we have.

Thanks also we have a similar problem, I have the 2021 I try and tell you

I reconnect to this old discussion because in company if2020 started to give us problems after having updated workstations from win7 to win10... as you have written here the problem does not give it with everyone, some work regularly as before, while others complain various slownesses, jump crashes and freeze of the edge.exe file occasionally.

really depends on windows 10 updates? Unfortunately I think that as a service pack we already have the last (on 13). . .

advice?
