Hello everyone, I did a research but I found nothing similar to my problem.

I've been using visual nastran for a few days but I have some crash issues. always happens when I try to apply a force on a surface: does not make me select the surface and a symbol appears with the question mark and the program goes wrong.

I'm sure it's a problem with my laptop because I tried on the fixed pc and it works. at the moment I can not make a nice formatting for various reasons (I also tried to remove and install the program again but nothing) and then I ask you if someone had a similar problem and if it has some solution to propose me, less drastic than formatting. . .

I think a sp came out last year, but if you're not in maintenance, you can't use it.

I think a patch came out last year that corrected some errors, obviously for those who are in maintenance.
I stayed at 2004 sp1 but I haven't used it for a while.
I imagine that on 64bit functions (perhaps) but in emulation.

simoffice is a suite of vertical msc solutions much more powerful and sophisticated than visualnastran 4d, the comparison is therefore unlikely as that between an off-road and a single-seater formula 1.
if your is just right curiosity I just have to point out the appropriate sites (e.g. http://simoffice.mscsoftware.com/) and give you references in mp if you want a demo.
if instead you have a technical problem to solve and want to deepen what results you can get with the various software solutions available on the market then well understood that it becomes delicate to study the solution with the best cost-benefit compromise, and to do this you must start from the specific problem.
