Hello everyone, with the wildfire version 4.0 I'm wrapping up regarding the layers. I explain, I have a solid component on which there are also some surfaces, I would like to create a solid layer so that I can then access it while keeping only the surfaces, I tried in every way but I couldn't. How can I do that?
Thank you very much in advance

in one part the solid geometry cannot hide it, while you can hide the surfaces.
However, you can use the simple representations that you find under management views that allow you to echo in a new representation the features you want, in your case the solid ones.

I think we can do... last week we did a course on wildfire 4 and the teacher among the various topics showed us how through a layer we can blind a solid geometry maintaining only the surfaces, unfortunately now we do not remember well how it did

create the new layer, in the selection filter select solid geometry, and put it in your layer.
so it should go.

hi, first of all thanks for the answer, I put in short what I did: I created on the layers new level, after which in the window I clicked on rules > change rules, then on search I inserted solid geometry, ok. at this point the layer created presents a different icon from the others, but blinding it or not, the geometry remains where it is... maybe I wrong something?
Thank you.

That's true, you're right. I checked that the procedure is 3dxx.
I didn't know, forgive me. I learned something new.
Bye.

If you want to do it with the rules you have to make sure you put the flag in the skeb rules on everything and not on id and then if your solid geometry is already present in the level property tab put the flag on associative, so doing goes fishing the solid in retroactive.

otherwise you do a simple manual level and do as 3dx said, with the right click pressed in the list if solid geometry, this is the manual level.

If you want to put the rules you better put them in the start part so that this operation you never have to do again.

greetings
