create a step for catalogues online

Bye to all,
I have my problem: I have to create from a small set, a part (to be saved later in step) for an online catalog.
my step, however, must be such as to show the external/contour profile but must hide all the parts and internal processing.
I tried to create the part in two ways: with the simplified and contour command with drift. the result and satisfactory but in part. practically the external profile of the generated part is perfect, but it displays all the edges and internal geometries.

Is there a way to get it with inventor or does it take another program?

Did you cuff out with the options of the "simplified contour"?
There should be some options that do what you're looking for

you have various options I have tried so many but nothing that goes well. Only in one case did I manage to hide in part the internal processing but it opened me rajects on the contour.
