symptom: after eliminating levels from a revit architecture project, there is no longer a planimetric view.
problem: when eliminating all levels in a revit architecture project, planimetric view is also eliminated.
solution: create a planimetric view as described below:
1.make click in the tab viewgroup creamenu drop down plant views (floor plan).
2.In the new plant dialog box, uncheck do not duplicate existing views.
3.in floor plan views, select the level on which to base the planimetric view.
4.select the desired scale and click ok.
5.In the project browser, rename the view of the floor plan just created in planimetry.
6.open the floor view.
7.click the graphicsmenu group view tab to drop down view models (applies model to current view).
8.In the dialog box apply view pattern, in view patterns, select plan of the plane.
9.in view property, modify the properties of the planimetric view as desired.
10.click ok.
