Bye to all,
I have to create new lines with autocad, specifically a new line with arrows, and, despite following the letter the instructions to create new shape with the _mkshape command and then _mkltype to create the line after creating the shape, the line that is created only presents vertical lines that do not bring back the shape I had created. Can anyone give me any indication? I obviously jump a few steps or something. I use autocad 2011.
thanks in advance katy

ah, thanks tir...me are always written in manina the forms and the types. I don't trust them so much.

well tristan can you give me some indication how to create new lines by writing everything by hand? I need to create lines with objects

thanks tristan! it seems less immediate but perhaps more effective! Now I try:

Thank you very much

Okay, thank you, tir, I couldn't find anything about it. thanks for the link, very exhaustive

Hi, I take it from here so it is easier to understand what the problem is. At the beginning of the discussion I could not create lines with forms. after trying to put into practice your advice I managed to do what I needed but I keep having a problem. the lines created work correctly until they are drawn on a straight line but when such lines take a curved pattern they behave as if they were broken, i.e. they do not break but at the point where the line changes trend makes a jump.
Can anyone help me?

I can't charge it in any way... from a mistake in the definition line. question:
Why did you insert a line with 2 identical information?

A,0,[FRONTEROSIONE,FRONTE EROSIONE,x=0,y=0,s=1,u=0,a=0,r=0],-7,0,[FRONTEROSIONE,FRONTE EROSIONE,x=0,y=0,s=1,u=0,a=0,r=0], 7

after the first "-7" that way still inserts "0,[FRONTEROSIONE,FRONTE EROSIONE,x=0,y=0,s=1,u=0,a=0,r=0],-7" since it is identical to the previous definition?
Moreover if there are no offset and the scale is equal to 1 you can omit all those values

I added all 0 values because I was hoping to help my line work properly and idem for the second string. If you want, I'll send you a version without double string and zero values. to upload them my colleagues copy all string into a row of lines that they already use and read it without any problem apart from what we are talking about. If you didn't already, you could try to do that, too...
I'll send you the line and the shape.
thanks for the help
