create smartplant design by inventor

Hello, everyone.
at work a customer asked to have 3d drawings made with smartplant, I wanted to know if it is possible to import in smartplant the files coming from inventor (or other sw), maybe converting them into sat , iges or step...

smartplant review is a viewer (roamer) for pds.
smartplant 3d is a pds heir developed by intergraph.
in any case if a customer asks you these files, it generally wants them "intelligent" then hooked to the database and with all associated piping info.
so the answer is definitely not.
