Hello everyone, I am new in the forum and it is little time I use revit.
I created a whole set of bim files that I saved individually, at this point I would like to create a sort of catalog that allows me to choose the file to open. I tried in every way but I can't figure out how to do it, in practice I would like to open a unique file in which all the drawings with bim are contained in it so as to simplify the search.
I hope I've been quite accurate but unfortunately I have very little experience with these software

bim files and drawings with bim does not mean anything, and ahime you were not clear at all. Are you trying to generate a template?

here is how I imagined, then I explain better, I started from an adsk design, opened in revit I entered the information in "family stones" and saved in .rfa. Now I want to be able to group all these rfa files. that correspond each to a different design in a file only so that you can open it and select the variant of the product I prefer and go to see its information; You think it's possible to do something like that?

serves for a catalog of items that must be uploaded online and I would like to make sure to have all the variants of a single product a single file; should make customer search easier. of course if you have other ideas are welcome, as I said I am not experienced in this software

if properly set a family of revit already has what you ask, through the button of family types. but the "variants" you talk about are dimensional, material or what?

exact, the problem is that in family types I have seen that they are inserted only of the same design, while I would like to create a catalog with names and product codes and clicking opens the drawing with associated information

as variants I mean a piece for example that it is formed by servo control with valve 1" while another is servo control with valve 1/2" then the design of the piece is different by size but not by type in fact the product is the same

then you have to use nested families. adopt the same procedure that is used in mechanical assemblies: many parametric parts that convey in a single assembly or multibody part.
...but to succeed in doing this revit you have to know how to use it not well...but great!
