hi to everyone, I am new to the forum, I recently started using this beautiful program with alas not few problems seen the work to be done and the little experience.... hope to find solutions and comforts at this forum:biggrin:

I have to realize together with a colleague a project that has as object a whole lot where there are pre-existences that I must maintain (3 residential buildings) and the rest will be the real project... but we proceed with order:

which road would be recommended to follow to perform the return in revit of this building (one of the 3 pre-existences to be maintained) also counting that the same file should I divide it with another person? !

the temporal sequence (existing/project) must be efected with the stages.
the connected files allow to operate on different files that then are assiemated in the main file

Thanks to the advice, however, it counts that it is not phases, in the sense that the existing one is not modified, the project in the same lot involves it and takes place next to it. I still try to understand how these links work, in theory I should create model mass, define it as a project connected and continue to work on that mass in the specific file, right?? But at this point what is the central file!?
I was also wondering how to assign categories to the models\masse so you can filter them if you need.... thank you!

in practice separate parts of the project are performed on separate files.
the same files are then assiemated in a "general" file

perfect, after some evidence we did it! now we have a central file to head and work on "satellite" files which can always be reloaded in the central file. ..strate that at the creation of some "revit connection" I changed the units of measurement but patience little wanted to put them back in place;
more than anything else in one of the files I have created prospects from the plant and in the respective prospects I have created new levels that, however, do not see revit tells me:

"no one of the created elements is visible in the prospective view: 1 - c. control active view, parameters and visibility settings"

I can't find anything to show you! ! !
