Hello everyone!
then I would like to know how I quickly create a frame made up of tubular elements, I heard about model bone but I couldn't find anything. You can explain to me in a simple way how I create for example a square starting from a sketch that gives me the size of the frame and the section of the elements.

thanks to those who will laugh

I don't know.

What kind of frame is it?
.... quickly depends, there are frames you do in 2 hours and others that require 2 weeks of work.

formulate the question more understandable and we will see to answer you.

You're right I didn't express myself well:biggrin:
then I would like to draw a simple mountainbike frame with a welded oval profile. I heard about the "velocized" modeling using the bone pattern as a preparatory design (drawing the frame pattern) to insert the rods of the structure. in such a way as to vary the lengths of the bone pattern will oblige the rods to resize. I remember that when I used solidworks in faculty (well times) there was a very simple command to use to create frames of any kind managing also intersections between the rods.

skeletons (bones) are used to manage much more complex things.
However, in order to use them, you must have the advanced module simply extension (aaax) and to learn how to use them is not enough 4 lines written in a forum.

you can still do what you ask without aax, drawing a sketch in the axieme and building the parts related to it and among them.

According to me cingolo means the framework module, comparable as functionality to solidworks welds, but with several differences. This is an optional module that costs approximately 4500 €.
I'll put you in link of a video, is that it?

unfortunately the price has made me think again:frown:
wanting to use the maxopus method "by tracing a sketch into the axieme and building the parts relational to it and between them." or without aax, could you teach me step by step?
I would be grateful to you both:biggrin:

Are there any tutorials about this technique?
are still a novello user of pro/e:biggrin:
Anyway I have the basic version and I don't think I'm going to go to the aax or the framework.....................

I've done them without taking care of them so much.
Just make her a little "abundant" so you can cut them as you like.

I tend to do more complete sketches on which to support me, so as to cure already from the sketch intersections, especially when they are a little particular.
Please note that the system is not very fast if you do not have optimizations, such as preparing profiles already designed and with parameters already assigned or similar.
becomes fast when:

1- do the skeleton
2- insert the profile already made to fit the ends
3- Put the matings on
4-suitable profile
5- repeat operations from 2 to 4 for other profiles.

I would like to say a couple of things, I don't want to break the boxes at maxopus that took the brigade to make this video very interesting, but to deepen.
after the change to the layout, the frame has not updated and this because proe does not automatically perform the regen but only on user order.

Moreover one thing that has snatched me of this system with proes is the way to couple the parts.
I do not like to couple the origin of the part on the origin of the assieme because it becomes difficult to go to redouble the part again (sometimes there can be more equal parts, the first I do it in this way and the others reposition) and because if it will be necessary to make the table of the component it will be necessary to prepare other orientations, etc.. I find myself better when I see the origin of the part aligned to the axis of the profile in some direction, it seems + natural.
said that when I tried to mate part plans on the lines of sketch proe gave me spades, it does not allow selection. in this other cad (not to name) are much more flexible and allow to mate on any geomtricately valid entity.
I'm the one who got stuck with a stupid thing? How could you bypass the problem?

The comparison is always good.
I did the example in that way to simplify the concept.
Then, depending on the context and complexity you can use different techniques.
what I have indicated is a technique that I never use, because having the aax module, I use the skeletons and the layouts that are much more effective also for propagation of non geometric data.

I will also start using the aax module, when I bought proe foundation+aax was in promotion and I took it but I never had time to take a course.

we use the oxen models "extremely", in fact we reproduce almost faithfully everything also with solids and then "recopy" the parts that make it.
This thing if it seems to be a double job allows us to divide the work into specialized groups so as to reduce the exchange of information between a designer and a coffee table (which is not said to be in the same place or in the same nation).
but it is a technique, in fact the ways that can be used to make the best use of bone skeletons are many.

It is a technique that I use very strongly myself but with solidworks. I still have to learn how to use it best and I am very interested because it seems to me that proe has an extra march than the various midrange cad with this type of use.

for what concerns my experience we have not managed to find a total optimization, depends very much what your purpose is. creating bone skeletons to feed them to mechanica is a type of work, to make the modeling of parts and putting into the table is another kind of work that normally only the opposite... then in big reality we do an analysis on what it is best to "velocize" and work in a certain way.

thank you so many boys for the delucidazione:finger:
caspita this post has stirred up:wink:
