Hello everyone,
I have a question, I use a lot of aluminum profiles like arimetal, I would like to know if any of you have created a custom library for example if I use a 45x45 600 long profile, in the board's forehead together appears to me "profile 45x45 l=600" as if I used a trave ipe from the inventor's library
in a few words I would like to avoid putting the length of the profile by hand, in the distinct.
I hope I've been clear and someone can help me.. . .

Hi.
you must "export" the fx parameter of extrusion via an example lh or cut name.
This parameter automatically switches to custom iproperties and then, you can call it back in the formula description
=profile 45x45 l=<taglio></taglio>

If you have a profile you will certainly have a length equal to extrusion.
go to parameters and rename the parameter related to extrusion in "length".
then follow the matteo procedure using the length parameter.

if it works in the templates so each new profile will be next to the length.
we use it and actually instead of 45x45 we put the name of the corresponding profile.
