Bye to all,
I am beginning to use the mechanisms with creo and I would like to play a cinematism with a conical couple similar to that in the video I linked (it is only 3mb ).
the axieme is very simple, it is composed of a fixed body (the vertical shaft to which the wreath is fixed which do not rotate and do not move )
and moving bodies: the horizontal shaft (motor) which, being free to turn both on its axis and on the vertical one, will turn the box in which it is inserted through two bearings.
I should also understand how to set the ratio so that at 90 degrees rotation on the vertical axis correspond 90 degrees rotation of the horizontal axis, in practice 1:1.
reading the guide seems to me to understand that to use the mechanisms you have to use the constraints defined by user instead of the automatic ones, my problem is to understand where to put them.
For example, I would have left like this:
1) the vertical shaft placed as default /fix
2)His wreath securely stuck on the shaft with automatic constraints
3) Horizontal tree with constraint defined by pin user, to allow rotation
4) would I also pin the free box to rotate in the vertical axis (or should I bind it with automatic constraints to the horizontal shaft by connecting the axes of the holes of the box with the axis of the shaft, plus the corresponding horizontal planes? )
I would then go into >mechanism applications and define a conical gear. But here it allows me to select only axles that can rotate, then that of the horizontal shaft and that of the box (if bound by pin)
In essence, how do I say to create that one of the two gears is fixed while the other turning around it moves on a radius circle r= conical couple radius?
