creo direct vs creo modelling

Hi.
I read it's already been asked, but I can't find any thread about it.

I can't understand what a difference between I create direct and I create direct modelling... that modelling is not parametric but direct?

Not but I'll be tough, but it seems to me that direct is the same as modeling and modeling I use it every day.

in fact just go on the page of each of the products to download the datasheet.
I'm in English, my language, and so I'm not interested in reading them, but I suppose it's enough to do them to see what one does and what the other does; then if you use it daily by reading the datasheet of the other you see immediately if the features are the same.

the site also sucks as there is no uniformity of pages and how links and documentation are managed

all this mess because the ptc put together his stuff and not his with names without thirst.

I create parametric that is a name that should not exist, is the old and renowned pro-engineering that is a very normal, parametric cad, futured based and with the history of feautures.
when ptc that had created modeling....that basically me10 in 3d, without history, without parametric ... tried at the beginning not to make discontent the users but did not make it and eventually pulled together two commercial names dive one sells you only the creo modeling new product, and on the other side sells you the old proe cin new name where there are also modules of the non-parametric modeling.

Yeah, basic is the same thing. one sold to itself and the other scalable with packages.

No, it's two different cads. creo direct/modeling is the old cocreate, creo direct would be pro/e with some direct editing features. the engine under the two cads is totally different.

probably the ptc thought to papparsi the client base of cocreate confuse them giving it a different cad with similar name, which did not work. creo direct I think exists only in the list, I don't think there are companies that actually use it, while instead I create direct/modeling is still widely used by former cocreated users.

Maybe it was underinteso but modeling that became creo elements direct was a cad 3d of the cocreate company that was purchased by the ptc in 2007, since then the waltz of names began.
