Good morning to all
My name is stefano and I am a mechanical engineering student at the University of the Eagle.
I am a new user of the forum and this is my first post!!!!
I am working with other colleagues on the design of a compact loader blade for a mechanical design examination.
In particular I am trying to define the cinematics and dynamics of the lifting arm, so that I can operate a choice in catalog (or possibly design) for hydraulic lifting actuators.
in particular I imported the model in creo 3.0 (student version) and I set all the connection constraints (I used mostly pin, for hinges, and I ran to define the sliding of the stems of the actuators in the respective cylinders). My will is to assign to the arm a lifting condition typical of the operation of the medium (so bucket that goes backwards, ascent of the arm with bucket that is maintained in the same position, then discharge of the bucket and finally descent of the arm with bucket that keeps parallel to the ground); to do this I have created an excel spreadsheet in which I defined the speeds of actuators.
Actually maybe I should better specify the method used to keep the bucket in place during the ascent: I used the data of a cinematic solutor 2d...this because I was not able to impose a bond of parallelism or orientation to the bucket compared to another component! ! ! !
the cinematic model is perfectly working, while I can't say the same regarding dynamics: often and willingly analysis is not completed (returns errors); When I go to graphics the force of actuators, the diagrams have multiple fluctuations. . .
I wonder if anyone can give me any indication. . .
I press that I am a neophyte of creo...in general I am a neophyte of cinematic/dynamic analysis! ! ! !
thanks for the attention
Good Sunday! !

Hi.

But... the animation module is there because to do what you want it would be the ideal, without passing by excel.

Hi, I don't know much about mechanism, especially analysis.
I can suggest you try to make the axieme easier, using as much as possible the cinematic skeleton for analysis.

Good evening, everyone.
first of all thank you very much for the answer to dani-3d and to 320i s...
regarding the animation module..si! in the student version is available. . But I thought it was useful only to adjust the final animation...not to set the movement (repeat.. I am absolutely neophyte of creo.. to the more I made some cinematic model in motionview of Altair!). for this reason I tried to import motion laws from excel... . Also unfortunately I couldn't find much material on the "mechanism" module of creo! dani-3d: do you think I can solve the cinematic/dynamics with the animation module integrated with mechanism? I try to expose my problem better: the kinematics I can solve it....the problem is that when I try to repeat the dynamic analysis, the model freezes (find mistakes)....I thought it could depend on the law to step set, or maybe I create do not like much excel!!!!. Yet the analysis I have to do seems rather simple...in the sense that the mechanism is essential: two handles, one arm, two bars, four actuators, two for lifting the arm, two more for handling the bucket! I just want to know the law of variation of the force of actuators!
320i s: regarding the schematization... I would have liked something more ' scenic!!! excuse superficiality, but it's an examination... all in all an idea of the forces exercised by the actuators I made it, through a 2-d simulation in working model!
Thank you again.
Good evening!

the animation module serves precisely for this, suitably set, not trivial, creating servomotors where you can choose the speed and duration of each movement. I repeat, at the beginning it is certainly complex, but the results are remarkable

good morning dani-3d and thanks for the answer.. .
I will certainly try to set the problem in the animation module! so many times would you tell me where to find material (type tutorials or examples) on this form?
Good day
