hello to all

Is there someone chewing a bit of the creo mechanism module?

Thank you.
Hi.

hi teto, there are many users who can answer questions about the topic. describe the problem.
Hello hope

I'm trying to explain.

What I would like to do is to make a whole (composed by the lower half mold, mounted on a tool, a system of levers that enlivens the entrance of the closed-cast punches according to its lowering caused by the contact with the upper mold that goes down and closes on the lower mold precisely. the lower tool is supported by the base of the press, and is supported by a hydraulic cylinder (from 50 to 150 tonn of power) when the upper mold comes in contact with the lower mold, in closed mold condition, the press continues to descend and 'scratch' down the lower mold, the punches enter, when the press has reached the lower dead point (angular position 180° ) , goes up. As a result, the lower mold goes back, the punches turn back, at a certain point the two half mold separates, and the upper half mold moves away until the press reaches the upper dead point (angular position 0° )

what I would like to simulate is this movement of the axieme connected to the lower mold caused by the contact and 'scanting' of the upper mold which, mounted on a sleigh (or bat) of the press is commanded by a biella manovella system typical of a mechanical press.

the axieme of the press mechanism (shaft with elbow, biella, sleigh, upper mold) + the axieme of the tool on which the lower mold is mounted and the punches I designed it.

I simulated the press movement.

I do not know however how to interact the two half mold when the upper half mold comes in contact with the lower half mold and thus simulate not only the movement of the press but also that of the lower mold and all that to it connected when it interacts with the upper mold.

I hope I was able to give an idea.

Hi.
to make the upper and lower mould interact creates a 3d connection (3d contacts) between the surfaces that will contact.
creo does not allow the selection of two flat surfaces, in which case, you can select a flat surface and create a point or sphere on the opposite surface.

when the upper mold touches the lower one, the two parts will move together, dragging also the leveraging you created for the handling of punches.

If you load a schema (or something representative) I can give you a more detailed description.

I had actually tried to use the 3d contact option but I couldn't select both flat surfaces.
I tried now with flat surface + point and accept it.
But I do not know how to make this condition look at the mechanism.

What are you up to?

By scheme I mean a set of the system you are simulating, with parts represented by cubes and pins.
We just need it to share the way you're inserting constraints.

the contact condition should consider it directly once inserted. if you do not take it, click reconnect (in the board bodies).
