I have to say that the discouragement is very ... especially because I am sure that for my sector (shoeing ) peaks still have great problems.........
despite participating in several "mini" courses I still have no courage to jump...
Are we going to come to the first of the many problems?
in it there is the possibility to select the entities by criteria and then click an entity in such a way as to prey all the attributes of the selected entity.
for me is fundamental!!!!

Hello psx2
1st from the “style setting” shovel there is a command (capture the color of an entity) that, selecting a surface, set as default color that of the selected surface.
2nd from the “advanced selection” shovel there is a command (selecting filter) that allows you to enable or disable the entity you want to capture with the single or multiple selection. going into the tense of attributes, always of the command “filter selection”, there is the line of the “color”; click on the “+” to expand it, uncheck all colors leaving only the last (current color) enabled which is the color you had previously defined.
3° from now on if you try to capture the entities with the trap, these will be selected only if they have the color you left “viewed”. Obviously you can create combinations between entities and attributes.
p.s. toptron and it is not identical at all to toptron it except for some commands of generations of surfaces (faces); only 2 tips:
1) “pump” at low head and start rowing with the new program without discouraging you.
2) when you launch a command lets you help-drive from the system by always reading the information on the bottom left.

toptron it to today for the footwear industry is still a great software, surely the concept of work is a bit old but the system is very practical and reliable.
toptron e9 is definitely very innovative but definitely Moroccan and with different problems to solve. definitely in other sectors is very valid, but for the footwear and design sector should be developed completely differently. This for the environment falls, while in the cam environment it is always very valid. then the parametric in the mechanical sector is definitely efficient but for the realization of soles for footwear is definitely a great boiata. I challenge anyone to make a fully parametric tucked tread... impossible and above all a great loss of time.
Unfortunately the footwear sector must have very rapid developments and summit e9 from this point of view is very poor. for the cad part probably there are better and much less expensive siftware, see rhinoceros 4.

Innate all the term of comparison to the powershape is certainly not the toptron it that is an old system of 10 years...

I have all this, but despite that I keep seeing him slender. . .
Probably the problem will be me leaving with the wrong foot.
I think the big problems are in the small things.... in the sense that peaks is an extremely versatile prg suitable for everything.... but then for example to close a simple curve I have to make the curve, let it open then go to the etool menu and there is the close curve command, select the curve, confirm and the curve is closed to me in tangence, in ps instead just that clicks cover the first point and the curve automatically closes
es2: use the templates in it ? mooolto comfy than to say but in tops is a casino there is no function (in my opinion more important ) that is to "buy" the attributes by clicking on an entity without knowing if it is yellow, green of pen 1 or 2 clickoc and just!
I think I can continue, but I repeat, they are only small problems, of course, solved, but that in my opinion they are more than indispensable! I repeat I weigh a bit on the part of delcam because I used it and I was really satisfied with it but these problems that make me little practical in my field are..... Then I repeat maybe the problem is also I because not being agreed on the program I do not give 100%.... indeed I hope thanks to you to change your mind.:! !

shoexpress... the worst existing software on the face of the earth!! full of bugs and check out the most interesting functions like the dima2dima and sizes, most times it crashes and does not go to good end. in addition to completely eliminating the parameters of which summit e9 should use. actually the function selected by criteria was fantastic in it and I do not explain why in and they eliminated it. then we do not consider the fact of stability it, e9 I go too often crashing and this makes me nervous not little!!! Unfortunately I don't know powershape... but considered rhinoceros superior to any cad in circulation for simplicity and costs. considering that in the ver.5 they will also implement the parameter... I see it hard for everyone!!!

Don't you have any problems when you expose your rhinos and reimport them with your cam?
