Hello.
I'm new to the forum and I have a doubt to ask you.
I'm using patran/nastran to perform tests for my master thesis and my problem is that I can't get the bending tensor out.
I explain, I have a model of a tube subjected to a particular load modeled in aluminum and composite material and, except for the two materials that make up them, the two models are identical.
the mesh is composed of shell elements.
When, between the output request, I require the strain tensor in output for the aluminum model correctly in the results, the tensor curve and the strain tensor appear, instead when I do it for the composite model only the strain tensor appears.
This is a problem for me because following this structural analysis I have to go to a composite laminate analysis for which are fundamental deformations and curvatures.
I hope I have clearly explained the very problem.
If anyone could help me in some way, I'd be very grateful.
