curve from file

I'm begging that I did a research, but I didn't find how much I need, at least I think. :tongue:
I should import a curve from files and the means at my disposal to generate it are octave, to max matlab.
the curve in question is the profile of a cam that I go through all the tiritela mathematics. :biggrin:
Apparently I can't generate iges files, vdas and beautiful company, so I wondered what structure should have the file to indicate the 2d coordinates of the curve?
If I follow a particular syntax I can then rename it and import it into creo elements/pro?

to create a passing curve for a series of points from file (offset coordinate system) you must first create the system of points from file using a *.pts file (open and editable with note block that attach you).

created the point system and pre-selected just click the feature curve and the above curve passes automatically through all the coordinates indicated.

the interesting thing is that the *.pts file can be replaced with others at any time of modeling and if you have used a good technique (intens etc.) the model will be updated to the flight.

can this set of points be "infinite" or have a limit?
In this way it is simple because I create a matrix in octave with the points that I subsequently carry in txt rename the file.
