exists in inventor a fast way to make an alternating patern like this:other software does.

sadly there's nothing automatic about inventor, for a zig-zag is not a big problem, it's just the bother to use more rectangle series (usually I solve with a sketch containing the first hole of the first two rows, and a rectangular series)

for areas to fill with holes, the thing is more ruthless, I saw him do twice on the cross with ilogic rules, but personally I could always stay away

according to me, you are losing in a glass of water ..
made the first hole, serialized it vertically and at 60 degrees on both sides, then serialized the first series on the right

Okay, but if I got it right, you did it in three steps.
to take a solid edge example does it in 1 step as you see in the photo:and makes you choose whether to include or not the last colon, determine the move ....I think swx does the same. (and I'm not saying that other software is better in everything)
