Good morning, my need is to cut a series of lines crossed by a floor. I cannot use the pull command as I do not have solids but only a 2d plan.
what command can I use, how can I proceed?
igo image pdf, I have to cut in one shot only all the green vertical lines compared to the 4 red phalus plan with central complusion.
autocad 2016

Thank you for your help!

try projecting the lines on the floor: a number of points belonging to each line should be found.
from here, having point and straight, you can split the straight into two and then delete the straight part you don't need.
I know, but I don't know how to do it otherwise.

it could be a system but considering that I could have a thousand and more green lines to cut I should find a faster method...for example by selecting the cutting plan, lines and with a click cut all that is above the cutting plane. . .

if the plan is parallel to the global uct, as it seems from the design you posted, you have two roads:

1) if the lines were designed with the same direction, select them all and then assign from property the coordinate z (initial or final) corresponding to the height of the plan

2) placed in an orthogonal view, draws a line on the floor and then cuts all the lines that cross it

I better explain point 2 quoted by gp, which remains valid for plans with any orientation:
turn current view (for example by _3dorbit)
creates a new ucs (command ucs) that originates in a corner of the plan, direction x the direction of the side of the plan on which you want to cut and for y give a simple sending (autocad will assume a y perpendicular to x)
give command "plate" (in English plan) -> current ucs
draw the cut line, then cut the cutting edge (possible to select the items to be cut individually or even via fence
give back the ucs command, then global (world in English) and then again "plan" to return to the initial view.

easier to do that than to write:-)
