cutting quota lines

I just can't find this command.I have to cut quota lines to improve the legibility of the design.(see attachment)
What do I need to look for, please?

However select the quota you want to stop, right click and:
Settings \ line/cold \ breaks \ select the 'create break' box. This should be done at one share or at least a few odds.

if you want to set it for all odds from one moment on:
Common drafting preferences \ line/cold \ interruption

thanks to both, from your instructions it seems quite simple but I couldn't find the command; Not even with the command finder. Unfortunately I have the release 8, I forgot to mention it
probably was introduced later. Thank you
