cylindrical cam with variable depth.

Good morning, everyone.
I have to draw a cylindrical cam in inventor but I don't know how to do it.
the particularity of the cam is that the depth of the groove must be variable.
Can someone give me a tip?

in practice the black sketch represents the 360° groove, while the gray one is the section in the middle part that as you go towards the tips, you have to go to 0.
