I hope you can solve my problem.
I have a complex cooling system whose geometry has been realized using catia. Now I should do fluid dynamic analysis using cfx and/or fluent.
I am clearly able to export the geometry from caia to ansys but, what should be my fluid domain (where the water passes to understand us) in the catia model is empty (just think about how a tube is drawn in caia: there is the thickness of the pipe but inside is cable).
Now I would like to ask you: Imported geometry into ansys is there a fast way to get all the empty spaces of my geometry and then immediately get the fluid domain?

Thank you so much!!

depends on geometry, and in particular on topology.
if the geometry is "to seal" you can switch from design modeler and use the special function for the extraction of the various fluid volumes, or use the Boolean functions in cayenne.
typically if the components do not have connection and/or have overlaps or holes, it is not possible to generate fluid volumes automatically.
More advanced methods are available in dedicated meshators, such as icem, or in other commercial products.
