Good morning to all,
I am a new user of proe wildfire v4....and coming from inventor 2013...I don't tell you the bestemmies... .

apart from this small vent...I noticed that by default proe sets the material of the part as aluminum...and all times I have to assign the steel. . .

how can I set the steel material by default so that every time I create a poarte should not change the mat? ?

thank you all.. .

Bye!

Obviously someone before you, or you somehow, assigned aluminum material to start part.

open the start part (even possibly the sheet metal) and assign to it the steel material. in this way every time you create a new model (solid part or sheet part) he will load that.

give an eye to the discussion that linked you to dani-3d, it explains a lot of things! :finger:

Thank you very much to all.. .I managed to do everything
Well, as you have noticed, many (not all:redface:) of blasphemies were not necessary.

jokes aside, try to understand how he works proe with his configuration files (config.pro, config.win, *.dtl): a world opens!

Since you are there, do not limit you to only fix the material in the start part, also think of parameters, relationships etc.
otherwise if you leave badly in the future you will have to reopen all the details and arrange them.
