Hello everyone, it is the first time I write in this forum. I would need help with the realization of an element in archicad. I should make a sloped ramp and curve, the image explains better (it would be the green ramp my element). I wait for your help and thank you in advance to all.

With regard to the 2d shape, I recommend that you use the complex profiles that allow you to edit the instruments in a very versatile way, the sloped ramp can be realized with mesh, assigning the odds to the various points

edit: I try to answer you more precisely, then

I was in you first of all I would take a lot of points of that irregular shape in the form of coordinates of a Cartesian axes system, once correctly indivuduata the position of all knots regarding the others I would use the spline tool to realize the irregular shape with the curves quite similar (this only in the 2d), then I would try to use the tool "magic flap" to fill the shape just defined with a wall very often or alternative Once this is done, select the layer with the right button and use the tool "cut with the bonnets", specifying as the object of this operation the wall or floor part above the ground

As for the curves, you could always use the flange tool similarly to the above, if you have difficulty in assigning the shape of your curve to the ground then armed with holy patience, and, always using the ground tool with the polygonal positioning method, you define a multitude of segments that make them look like your polygon curve

I hope I've been helpful, bye

Thank you very much for the advice. I will try as indicated by you, although it seems very laborious

it is for the simple reason that the program offers a variety of editing tools really very small, if you are usually doing works of this type I strongly recommend you to turn to other programs because to make irregular shapes you have to spit liters of blood

In my opinion, instead, doing that serpentone is quite simple and without even bothering complex profiles etc., just use the polygonal bonfires, limiting to make several bonfires in the stretches of equivalence.. . .
then if I can give advice, instead of using size with the falde, it is much better to use the booolean operations that allow immediate changes of slope

the serpentine was due more than anything else to explain to him how to create correspondence between the image and the rendering, however since you are in the mood to provide help, could you please take a look at the last post of the thread "problem in creating materials" ? would you do me a big favor

that thing is more complex, as soon as I have in my hands the program I make a test, I still make the renderings with other programs and hardly check the materials to get realism photo with archicad

hello to all, is it possible in archicad to realize forms like those of zaha hadid projects attached? Is it enough to use archiform? What are boolean operations on solids, how are they used?

Thank you

the second yes. the first would have to go mad with polylinee 3d in archiforma, but I don't know if eventually something good can come out.

Boolean operations serve to do subtracts, additions and other interactions on solids
