derivative part

Hi.
I can't find the way to change the basic file of a derived part file.
I have to change the codes and then I have to reconnect the derived part to the new code without having to create a new file to be inserted in the assemblies.

with the closed set, rename the original base file so that the derivative cannot find it, when it asks you to indicate the reference file, address it to the new file.
done this, you can rename as originally the former base file.

open the derived ipt and connect it to the new father.

once loaded, from the side file where you need to replace the base file, asks through the "open" interface to select the father file. replacement is instantaneous and you do not need to exit the 3d design
