derivative parts do not update

Hello everyone, I created a part and drew the left and the right of a simple zipper x doors.
then from the feature manager I selected the dx part and I did insert into the new part and saved the derived part as dx
I do the same with the left side and save the derived part as sx.
then I create a set in which they share left and part dx.

if I now return to the first part created, the one that contains all the functions, and I change the width of the hinge, if I go into the derived parts the new width does not update and therefore not even in the axieme.

I don't have the file at hand, I could post it in the evening if you need it.. but it is a generic speech, the derived parts do not update
I hope I've explained well

Thank you

first question: why do you make a derivative part of a part?
However, nested references do not update. you have to change part, or open the part, and do the update.
There was such a discussion, but I can't find it.

if you can attach files you can better define the situation

View attachment cerniera.rarhere is the file, the 2 solids have been saved as sx and dx and then create the axieme and match them to make the zipper openable and closing. .
I did not create 2 separate parts because having the same characteristics and same quotas I made before drawing a multibody part and then split it.. I just had to update the size in case of changes. .

ctrl q I didn't try, the traffic light is the first thing I tried to do but it doesn't work. .

Unfortunately not using it every day solidworks configurations I never learned them, so I can't use them. .
He pushed me to do so a video that I saw on the net where a box was created by dividing with a sketch an emptied parallelepiped and with the "divid" function were then saved 2 parts derived in a set.. I didn't know there would be any update issues once the odds were changed. .

tomorrow I try to recreate the assist thanks

but in the video the axieme is what I had done or did you do it with the parts with different configurations?

I didn't specify it.
in the video I did it again with the first zip, the one with the only part you attached, but doing the derived parts and not with the configurations; but I get the same result with your set
