hi, question "in limbo" that in my opinion would find more answers in the forum of solidworks than inventor. for advice.
I don't know the command comes, I just heard of it. in solidworks you have to use "insert part" (inside the part) to emulate this command. keep in mind, however, that links with external references in solidworks, generally, are made in the context of a set. the 2 systems reason a little different. in inventor have preferred and developed the "derive", while in solidworks are much more performing and reliable references in the context of a set. based on what you have to do, you have to see what's best.
