There is no direct command like that of inventor. you could use a part with the joint command, but I should see the axieme to understand whether it suits you or not.
If you could know what you need to do and why you need the derived component I could recommend the most comfortable way in swx to achieve your goal.


a question: When you do it in inventor, is there an increase in performance? Is the axieme in which you go to use the derivative more lean?

other question: is the function stable? do references remain?

exact derivative compost is used to streamline assemblies...and a good command and saves so much ram on systems 32 bits.. stability problems I never had...I wanted to get to the concept of great assemblies..what shortcuts used to streamline assemblies with so many parts.. .

I don't have a precise method, but it depends on how much and how I have to lean. a method is to use simplified configurations of parts and assemblies. configurations, as well as in swx, do not exist in inventor and have great potential.
another method is a manual defeaturing with which a simplified part to representation of the axieme is removed.
I can do it quite quickly but very effectively in the topdown assemblies where I have a reference skeleton.
Keep in mind that the topdown in swx works very reliably and once you understand how external references are practically infallible.
If the simplifying aid is not exaggerated, you may attempt defeaturing as a swx function.
Another alternative is the conjuncts I told you before, but I never did serious tests to see how lightens the axieme in this case.

what is more "light" converting into part or creating a lightened config, example suspending all the vice, and non-necessary parts for insertion into a higher set?
