Good evening to all!
for the examination of constructions of machines I have to design a flag crane.
I started looking for some regulations:
-uni iso 4301 defines me the class of the appliance
-cnr 10021 should help me for calculations (I am not in possession)
- and the famous Eurocode 3 in particular the section concerning fatigue.
Now to start the project I thought I was moving in this direction: classification of the device, and therefore definition of the number of cycles and of the load spectrum, sizing with the classical rules (diagrams> more solicited >tensions) and therefore use of the eurocode for the fatigue dimensionalization of the construction details (in particular the welding). is correct?
My whole question is of a general nature, that is an engineer who has to design something compulsory needs the legislation relating to what he plans or not?so in the specific case I need the cnr 10021?
I hope I have explained to you my question and at the same time clarify it to me, since I have a bit of confusion about the use of the rules...
Thank you so much!
