Good morning, I am having problems with the creation of a cam that allows me to have above the "arm" a race of 82mm, using a crazy pin from ø26, as in the figure. I tried to follow multiple tutorials on youtube but I can't get to a conclusion. Thank you all for your help.Vista frontale camma.webp

I don't understand.
Do you have trouble shaping the movement of the cam with inventor, or can't get the solution to your problem from a point of view of cinematics/equations?

Hello, thank you for the answer, I can't get the solution to both of you. I tried with the various constraints following videos but at some point the cam turns on one of its "faces", moreover I do not know exactly what method to use (starting from scratch) to be able to calculate the 82mm excursion of the arm. this cam I drew it by moving through sketches the various positions of the arm and its holes using lines and circles.

from the point of view of modeling in inventor I can not help you .
If you want a hand to calculate cinematism you can work (it is not trivial to get the profile of a cam). However, you should provide a more detailed film scheme:
- direction of your “race”: a hinged barbeque describes a circumference arc, so talking about excursion in mm is not very clear; you can transfrominate it in an alternating linear movement (orizontal or vertical that is) by inserting a glyph.
- constraints of space: length barbeque, hinges positions etc...
- motorcycle profile of your “end-effector”. or at least a time of implementation and, to begin, we hypothesize a law of trapezoidal motion.
