design-model binding is lost with family table

Hello

I wanted to know if/how it is possible not to lose the drawing link - model when using the family table.
I explain to me I use the function saved by name to create new models that I modify but substantially present the same geometry of the "father", it is useful to have also the relative new design that will be ready to use with very few corrections. the system works well except in case you use a part or together with family table where the bond is lost and I have to recreate the table.

hi, do not use the save by name but rename (checking the option 'rename in session' not on the disk). open the design that you need to duplicate and renounce it, then open the part or the aid and renounce it in the same way. if there is a family table I think you just enter the table and change the names of the variants.

I found your advice very useful and it works perfectly but the problem in my case was solved only to a certain point. in fact my situation is this:

father code composed of together 1 level + parts.

together first level composed of parts + parts with family table or/e together 2 level.

with your procedure I should start from the parts then change the 2 level axieme that creates me already the name part new. at this point when I go to change the 1 level or the father code gives me error because it tells me that there is already an object with the same name in session.
I understand that I was unclear

thanks to your advice I managed to arrange even the highest level assemblies. as a method is more complex than the simple "save by name" but at least it works.
